262-615 TRACKING - ALL LEVELS

Calendar Mar 16, 2026 at 9 am, runs for 6 weeks

DESCRIPTION:  It is to designed to build on your dog's ability  to distinguish and follow a specific and slightly aged human scent. Class meets at various locations as determined by the instructor. Sessions generally last 2-3 hours minimum. The first class will meet at the AADTC building.  The equipment needed will be discussed at the first class.

PREREQUISITE:

  • Successful completetion of Intro to Tracking 
  • Instructor approval (Instructor may contact you to discuss dog's level of past training)
  • Up-to-date vaccinations
  • If your dog can tolerate and your vet concurs, it is suggested that your dog have the Leptospirosis vaccination as you will be outdoors.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Copy of your vaccination records
  • Buckle collar
  • 4-6 ft leash
  • Variety of small, easy to eat treats
  • Appropriate outerwear for you and protection for your dog based on weather

DESCRIPTION: Learn to teach your dog to distinguish and follow a specific and slightly aged human scent. Class meets at various locations as determined by the instructor. Sessions last 2-3 hours minimum. The instructor will inform you where the first class will meet if it will not be at  AADTC.  The equipment needed will be discussed at the first class.

PREREQUISITE:

  • No minimum age or previous training needed for Intro to Tracking 
  • Up-to-date vaccinations
  • If you dog can tolerate and your vet recommends, it is suggested that your dog have the Leptospirosis vaccination as you will be outdoors

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Copy of your vaccination records
  • Buckle collar
  • 4-6 ft leash
  • Variety of small, easy to eat treats
  • Outerwear for you and protection for you dog appropriate for the weather
