DESCRIPTION: TThe foundation for the Open level competition exercises are introduced. This includes work on precision heeling, including various paces, turns and Figure 8.  Handler/dog teams should have an understanding of the Open exercises.  The dog should have begun an introduction to drop on recall, dumbbell retrieving, open-level jumping, and command discrimination exercises. As the handler/dog teams  progress,  distractions and proofing will be done as appropriate.  Class can be repeated.

Class Schedule:  The class will meet every other week.

 PREREQUISITE: 

• Having a CD or showing at the Novice level (CD)
• Or, Instructor approval. 

WHAT TO BRING:

• Copy of vaccination records;
• 4-6 ft leash;
• buckle collar;
• Variety of small, easy to eat treats.
• Competition dumbell sized to specific dog.
