DESCRIPTION: TThe foundation for the Open level competition exercises are introduced. This includes work on precision heeling, including various paces, turns and Figure 8.  Introduction to drop on recall, dumbbell retrieving, open-level jumping, and command discrimination exercises. As the handler/dog team  progress,  distractions and proofing will be done as appropriate.  Class can be repeated.

 PREREQUISITE: 

• Successful completion of Novice III;
• Showing in Novice (CD);
• Instructor approval. 

WHAT TO BRING:

• Copy of vaccination records;
• 4-6 ft leash;
• buckle collar;
• Variety of small, easy to eat treats.
• Competition dumbell sized to specific dog.
